sugar diabetes a term riddled in myth

Sugar Diabetes is a popular term used today to describe diabetes but it is rooted in a diabetes myth circulating today.

Diabetes is not caused by eating too much table, regular sugar as the myth perpetuates.

I can see where this myth came from and like most, it is based in part on some truth, Diabetes is a disease where the body will not break down glucose which is a form of sugar and it builds up in the blood.

The glucose our body makes does not necessarily come from table sugar, which means that you will not have a higher level of glucose if you eat more sugar than you would have if you eat let say bread.

The process is simple then, We eat carbohydrates that are converted into glucose, this glucose is burned by the body as a fuel to create energy that fuels us.

Diabetics have a hard problem synthesizing this glucose that builds up in the blood stream thus the sugar diabetes or sugar disease reference to diabetes.
